On May 25th, Haliphar had the honor of collaborating with the Vietnam Rheumatology Association to host a scientific seminar at the Lotte Hotel in Hanoi. The seminar, titled “Reflecting on a Decade of Using Hyaluronic Acid and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) in Treating Musculoskeletal Disorders,” successfully attracted over 450 orthopedic specialists from across Vietnam.

The primary objective of the seminar was to disseminate the latest advancements in the application of Hyaluronic Acid and PRP in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. Additionally, it provided a platform for experts to share their experiences and discuss innovative treatment methodologies. The event also served as an introduction to the next-generation lubricants, Synolis VA and RegenPRP Regenlab from Switzerland. These products, designed to support the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, adhere to the highest European standards, promoting sustainable and safe functional recovery and improved quality of life for patients.

The seminar was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan, President of the Vietnam Rheumatology Association. Under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan, the seminar featured a wealth of diverse and profound content. Within the framework of the seminar, four in-depth reports were presented and enthusiastically discussed:

At session 1, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hung delivered a presentation on “Osteoarthritis: Comprehensive Diagnosis and Updates on Current Treatment Methods.” This session provided an extensive overview of osteoarthritis, highlighting the latest diagnostic techniques and treatment modalities.

At session 2, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Van Giang focused on “The Role of Imaging in Assessing Structural Damage in Osteoarthritis and Common Spinal Disorders.” This presentation emphasized the critical role of advanced imaging technologies in accurately evaluating the extent of structural damage and determining appropriate treatment strategies.

At session 3, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Chau discussed “Hyaluronic Acid in the Treatment of Osteoarthritis: Considerations for Optimizing Treatment.” The report highlighted the advantages and disadvantages of using Hyaluronic Acid in treating osteoarthritis and provided recommendations to optimize treatment effectiveness.

At session 4, Dr. Hoang Van Dung Shared insights on “Autologous Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Injection Therapy in Treating Cartilage, Tendon, Ligament, and Spinal Injuries.” The report elucidated the latest applications of PRP therapy in treating musculoskeletal injuries, offering new hope for patients.

The seminar concluded with great success, imparting valuable knowledge and facilitating meaningful exchanges among orthopedic specialists. The robust participation of doctors from various provinces, coupled with Haliphar’s active involvement, significantly contributed to the event’s success.
